Our plan right now is DL/WDW in Nov 2014, WDW in April and Sept 2015. We will getting the Premiere for DH, DS#1 and myself. Will buy next month and activate at DL in Nov.

So about 25 days total.

DS#2 will only be 2 at DL but will be 3 on our 2015 trips to WDW.

If we buy him the WDW PAP at $424 and activate in Nov 2014 at WDW even though he technically doesn't need a ticket is that a better deal than getting a ticket for him in April 2015?

We need more than a 10 day expiry and would want hoppers and water parks.

So basically I am asking to use his ticket even though he is 3 because it will be cheaper in the long run? Does that make sense?

I think $424 was last year's price for DVC discount AP. The PAP with DVC discount a little over $500 with tax, a few dollars less than DVC AP.

Unless you are only going for long weekends in 2015, it would come out cheaper to get him the PAP in Nov14 and activate it before he turns 3.

Not sure how that would work with MB. My DD's birthday is saved in MDE and I don't know that it would allow me to link a ticket.

We're hoping for 15 days AFTER he is 3 so I think activating it early will still save in the long run.

If something happens and we don't get back , well we tried ;)
