Panting Cinderella's Castle?

They are. I do not like it at all. Could be because it was so cold last week and/or the crane there. It just is not what we are used to and I am sure that during time it will grow on us.

I'm not so sure that I can even tell the difference? As long as it's not a birthday cake again, I'm probably going to be fine with whatever they do. Perhaps that's why they made such a drastic change that year so that anything they do going forward won't look as bad in comparison!

From the photos I've seen, the difference is not all that dramatic.

The color during the HCOE was a light nuetral blueish-gray. The new color seems to be a light neutral beige.

I'll reserve judgement until I get down there and see it with my own eyes, but my first impression based on teh photos is that it won't make any difference at all.

The crane comes down each day around 2:00.

I think that the new color is very pretty. I also don't really think that it is pink at all. Just a nice neutral beige.

Never saw the crane come down. If you are taking a shot directly towards the castle then the crane will not be in view. But for shots at the side it is there. It is hidden from front view by the top of the castle (can't think of the correct term). We have several pictures from front that look great, but when we went to the right to get pictures with the Christmas tree you can see the crane. Good luck.

The crane was staying up while they opened the sidewalk. I have the feeling they will close the sidewalk again to lower the crane now that the holiday crowds have died down.

This was how it looked on November 16th. It was all painted except for the bottom section. (Notice the huge crowds... What a great trip it was in the rain!)
