Panoramic photo question

I'd like to take some panoramic shots on our cruise this coming week. I have never taken these type of pictures so if you have, can you give me some ideas on what types of pics to take? I know the sunrises and sunsets but what else would be a great panoramic shot? Thanks!!!

These are not great by any means, but are some of the first panoramic photos I took using Photostitch on my Canon S2 -

Good luck and have fun... I have some others that I have taken, but have not "stitched" them together.... Some at EPCOT during the F&G Show - flowers along the lakes, one of around the lagoon at WS, it's fun to play!

OOOOHHHHH, very pretty. I can never think "out of the box". I would have never taken a regular picture and make it a panoramic one. Like I would have never thought off taking one of the hotel or the pool area as a panoramic. Now this have given me some great ideas. Can't wait!!!!

If possible lock the exposure for all the shots. Use manual mode. Otherwise it will make lines in the stitching of the frames.
I have had the best luck with the panorama factory software.
