I'm just beside myself. I've looked at the weather predictions a million times, but since its so cold where I am, I can't imagine what the weather is like or what to take.

We were in DL in Dec. 07 and I felt cold all the time. I remember thinking I would take warmer clothes next time, but now the predictions are for such nice weather, I don't want to take the wrong things.

Who is there now and can give me some advice?

It'll definitely be cold at night as soon as the sun goes down. Bring clothes you can layer. We are heading down Friday. I'm packing jeans, t shirts, long sleeve shirts, sweatshirts, heavy jackets, gloves, hats for the kids...pretty much everything but shorts and a bathing suit!! :rotfl:

You're not taking a bathing suit?

We went 11/28 to 12/3, and I enjoyed a dip in the pool and the hot tub at HoJo's. Heck, DGD6 even talked me into standing under the water dump bucket with her at Pirate's Cove at HoJo :scared1: Of course, I immediately jumped into the hot tub after that.

I swear, I'd do just about anything that that little sweetie would ask :lmao:

But seriously -- take the bathing suit. You may be surprised. And your resort may have a hot tub.

We are taking bathing suits, just in case. We are staying at HOJO's.

to avoid having to pack a heavy, bulky coat, i would suggest what the PP did, and just pack thin layers. jeans and t-shirt for daytime; thin long-sleeved shirt to wear over that, and a thickish hoodie or zip up sweatshirt for nightime. if you bring a hat and gloves, you should be toasty warm even for cool nights.

i wear just what i listed to play outside with my kids when it's 20 degrees here (except that i also wear a scarf), so i can't imagine you wouldn't be warm enough dressed similarly in anaheim.

as long as you bring the gloves and hats, you should stay comfortably warm.

just got home last night... we braved the rain, and were quite warm in our regular clothes: jeans, tshirts, hoodies with jackets over them. Sunday durring the day it was too warm for the jacket... and my companion said it was too warm for his hoodie. We went exactly one year ago and froze our little butts off. You'll be ok this year. If you want to avoid the big coat, bring your sweaters and beanies/gloves. Daytime you wont need them, but around 4pm the temp starts to drop a bit and get chilly.

Have a great time!
