Panera's Mac n Cheese!!!!

Sounded sooooo good, but I just looked up the nutritional info:

Large: 980 cal / 61 g fat / 2030 mg sodium
Small: 490 cal / 30 g fat / 1020 mg sodium

It's Mac and Cheese, not a salad. That goes without saying!

I haven't been to Panera in a while ... I might have to go today!! DS and I were going to get Chinese food for dinner since DH is traveling but we might have to give Panera a whirl. It USED to be my favorite lunch place in the world but I got away from it.

Sorry..... I'm Weight Watchering, so that's my first thought...

I've had it as part of a You Pick Two and it really is very good! Definately left you wanting more, but after seeing the nutritional facts posted, I'm glad it is a small portion!I do think Panera's prices are high (recently went up) and their portions are getting smaller. A sign of the times I guess, but I love them anyway, and it has become a very occasional treat rather than once a week (too close and convenient!)

Definately try the Mac and Cheese if you get a chance! Comfort food at its best.

The Panera broc cheese soup they sell at Costco is NOT the same......

Thank you for the warning, I almost got sucked in! I had it in my cart for a second then put it back. Pricewise, Itwas the same as going to Panera, and Id rather eat out. lol.

My sil and I discovered their mac & cheese around 6 weeks ago, we LOVED it! We made a date to go back like 2 weeks later, but didn't make it, I took her to the ER instead! So she has a surgery scheduled and I thought I would get it for her and take it to the hospital while she's there as long as they let her have it. I don't want to torture her with bringing it and they tell her no way! I think it's to die for!!! Not on my current diet though!
