Pandora?

There are rarely dicsounts on the higher end ones like Pandora, Chamilia & Troll - sometimes they have a bead promo - like buy 3 or 4 beads get the bracelet for free. You will get a much better deal on the one at Kohls, just be forewarned that not all the beads from the different brands are interchangeable with each other. I have the Pandora bracelet, but have bought 4 beads so far from Kohls that do not fit. I've heard the same with the other brands as well.

Kohls does have great sales on their beads though - they're often 60% off plus whatever % off coupon you have for Kohls. If she really doesn't care what brand it is, I'd go with the Kohls one.

Also be aware that if you do splurge on the Pandora bracelet, if she has even one non-Pandora bead on it & has a problem (other brands beads tend to get stuck or damage the threading) - they won't even look at it for you. The warranty becomes void once you place anything on it non-Pandora.

My favorite beads are actually the cheap-y ones I got in Disney 3 weeks ago - lots of Mickey heads, plain & with rhinestones, Tinkerbelle and others, for $3.95-$5.95 each!

You mean Disney has beads for Pandora style bracelets? ? I've only seen the charms?

Maybe I'm using the wrong terms - they're not dangling charms I got in WDW, they are what I call beads (but that might be wrong) - they have a hole through them to thread the bracelet through. My camera batteries are dead, as soon as they charge I will try & take a picture of the ones I got. I LOVE THEM!

They're just costume jewelry, not sterling silver, and I fully expect them to tarnish/break at some point - but seriously, they make me smile & were dirt cheap!

Here are the pics..

The following beads are the cheap ones I got in WDW:
3rd - silver square with silver rhinestone Mickey head
5th - red glittery Mickley head
7th - silver square gift
9th - silver Mickey head with black rhinestones
11th - holiday drum with red & green dots

That is what I'm talking about maybe being able to buy a charm/bead when we go to Disney love the red Mickey head. My mom and I were looking at the ones on the cruise. It was the dcl ship!

If you really like Disney charms, you may want to look at the Chamilia bracelets. Their prices are about the same as Pandora, maybe a $1 or $2 cheaper depending upon the store. Chamilia is the only one that is licensed to sell Disney. (all sterling silver and/or gold)

They also have the cutest little girls' collection called Miss Chamilia and they have Disney charms too. The local store where I buy my Chamilia beads informed me that Miss Chamilia will be carrying princess charms in January. We're excited about that! My DD has one and uses her own money to buy her charms.

Don't get me wrong, I love the cheapy beads and have tons of Disney costume jewelry too! I'm not a jewelry snob at all. I don't even wear a diamond. My Chamilia bracelet is a sweet gift my DH got for me and it's nowhere near being full. I do find that I actually spend less on t-shirts and junk on vacations now because I just think, "I'll get a bead when I get home to remember this trip."

Here's a link so you can see the beads: http://www.thebeadcage.com/shop/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=14_76&zenid=a5d1236440f8c702ffa13056d075790c

Where did you get the Disney beads at WDW? I got my mom a pandora bracelet for xmas and would love to get her a few WDW beads with it since I'll be there this weekend.

Thanks OP. I didn't know that Kohl's had these. (In fact I didn't even know I wanted one until now). I just got a starter bracelet with 6 charms, plus 3 more charms for $137 (using 30% code)! My husband is so sweet to keep buying me such nice gifts. And he doesn't even know about it! Maybe I'll wrap it up and put it under the tree. Merry Christmas to me!

I've picked up Camilla beads on Main Street. Not sure the name of the store but It's on the right hand side and has lots of watches/higher end jewelry in it. :)

Pandora does run the bead specials a few times a year and it's a great way to get the bracelet for free. I would be sure you know what she'd prefer before choosing a brand or choosing to go off brand. I've had AWFUL luck with anything other then Pandora and only have moderate love for Camilla. They win me over with the Disney beads but I have a few others that haven't held up. The ones from Kays and the generic ones fell apart right away.
I do love my bracelets and its a perfect gift. My DH always knows what to get me and my mom, Grandmother and I exchange beads every year.

Will the beads from wdw fit on the kohls bracelets? Kohls' has a gold that's not outrageous and I only wear gold.

If you mean the cheapy costume ones, they are everywhere. I saw them in every park store & resort gift shop as well. I got mine at World of Disney in DTD, Mouse Gears in Epcot & one at the shop in GF. They are sold on little cards on the spinner racks with all the other costume jewelry & bracelets & gadgets, usually near the registers. They sell them in singles for $3.95-$5.95 and then have sets - I got the Christmas set for $18.95 (6 beads) and they had an awesome Halloween set - same price, but I was really hoping to find that discounted somewhere since it's out-of-season but no luck.
