Pandora vs Chamilia

Good Morning, Can anyone tell me if Disney has officially discontinued the Chamilia partnership? I am thinking of starting a Pandora bracelet for myself while at the parks next month but was also thinking about my daughter. She is only 9 and some of the charms look a little more kid friendly from Chamilia. However, I don't want to start a charm bracelet that I will have difficulty finding pieces for over the next few years.

I think a Pandora bracelet with a charm from each visit would be a really nice token to pass down to her when she gets older. Anyone have one already? Pros/cons??

I don't want to start a charm bracelet that I will have difficulty finding pieces for over the next few years.

Shortly after the Pandora announcement was made, Chamilia announced their partnership with Disney will be over at the end of this year. So I wouldn't count on being able to find any Chamilia Disney charms after that. And the closer you get to the end of the year, the more likely it is that individual charms will be sold out.

I agree with your assessment - I like both, but the Chamilia charms seem more "fun" to me and the Pandora charms more "sophisticated."

I don't have any of the Pandora charms yet but I really like a lot of them - my wishlist is going to be a long one LOL. If you want to get an idea of what the charms look like, you can see large pictures of some of them at the online Disney Store (as of today they're sold out of quite a few but they'll be back in stock eventually). You can see pictures and prices of all 16 parks charms here and there are 25 additional charms that are sold at Pandora stores - pictures/prices here or on the Pandora website .

The partnership between Disney and Pandora is set to last 10 years, so I'd guess there will be new charms every year
