Sorry if I sound like a Dummy! But I am tomarrow is my FP Day to choose . Going to AK . Me. Adult Daughter & 2 Grandsons 10 yrs. & 12 yrs . confused about "The Single Rider" If I get the FP should I let them go Alone ( we will also be on ride) How many can be in a seat ? . We have never been . any Hints Welcome .

There is no single rider line anywhere in pandora. FoP originally had one but it has never been used and may never be used. For FoP it is one person per ride vehicle and you will be seated next to your party most likely. NRJ is 4 to a boat. Make FP for each person in your party.

Be warned, depending on when you go FoP FP may already be gone. My FP day was today and AK is our third day. No FP for FoP. They were gone.

4 to a boat for Navi?? We are a family of 5. Will we fit in one boat? Two adults and kids 13, 10, and 3.

Exhibition Everest is the only ride at AK with a single rider line. Test Track at Epcot, Rock n Roller Coaster at Hollywood Studios are the other rides with single rider lines. Basically this line is filler when there is a odd number of people. So if the 4 of your group does single rider, you aren't going to be together.

Too bad that single rider was a flop at FoP

Are you only doing one day in the parks? If so then you might want to look at a rope drop strategy for FoP, as all the FPs will be gone.

FoP does have a single rider line, but it has not been open since FoP has been open. Maybe they'll open it up in the future if the standby line is constantly down and not up to 200+ min waits

With FoP only seating one person on the ride, it doesn't make sense to open the single rider line until the wait times go way down. Say there is one spot left and the next people in line are groups. The CM could just ask for a single rider nearby in the regular line to come and fill the spot.

Maybe it's bc it was July and the park was busy(?), but my fam of 6 rode in one ROW. We had strangers in the row behind us. (We have 2 adults, quite small 9 and 4 yos, and 2 babies.)
I went shortly after it opened and they limited it to two adults per row and the only rows with three had very small kids. Chances are you didn't need the room if you had two babies and two small kids,

You could fit 3 adults in one row. Kids and babies you could stack just like other rides, but 2-3 adults is the max per row

It wasn't a flop; they just can't use it right now. There are too many people in the standby line. It will probably be used in the future.
Maybe eventually they change their mind. But yeah, they've never used it and now, they have covered it and the phrase I heard from the CM was "the single rider line will never be used"
I personally thought it was not needed and if it was used would cause them more trouble than it was worth. They can get all the single riders they need right from the combined lines already. They don't need single rider lines in the sense that any other ride needs them. It would be like trying to use one on ToT

Soarin originally had a single rider line when it first opened. I used it the first time I rode it. They closed it shortly after and it has never reopened. So did Toy Story Mania. I doubt it will ever be used for FoP.

Universal has a lot of single rider lines compared to Disney. I used the one at Gringots couple of years ago. Most of the time you can just fill the spots from the existing lines if you need too.
