Since it's just a guestimate, I would say on a non-EMH morning, at a busy time (spring break), it'll take less than an hour for the standby line to be more than 30 minutes for Na'vi.
But 30 minutes after opening will probably be at least a 60 minute wait. It would be better to go later in the day, after the rope drop crowd gets processed through.
If it isn‘t a priority for you (you don’t want to wait for an hour or more), you could try to get it as a fourth FP after you’ve used your other three. We were able to get it as a fourth FP at both Thanksgiving and the week after Christmas. With a little persistence in modifying the time, I was able to get it before 2 PM both times.
In January the line was over 30 minutes instantly and stayed over 60 - 90 all day. No FP were available throughout the day. That was mid January on a 7-8 crowd day. At Spring Break if it gets under 90 you would be luck. Right now its at 90.
It is nice and beautiful - but it’s no thrill ride. Just a nice quick water ride with lots of beautiful scenery to look at. If that’s your thing - and it is mine because I don’t do thrill rides at all - you’ll enjoy it.
I agree the scenery is gorgeous. If there was any story whatsoever, it’d be a nice little ride. But I swear at first I thought the audio was malfunctioning or something—surely Disney didn’t make a ride with no story??!? Sadly, yes they did.
