Pandora - Avatar Test runs?

In 2007 during our first Disney visit Expedition Everest was just finished but not yet officially open, we were able to ride it a couple of times while they were doing test runs.

This year we are going to be at Disney late April into early May, do you think there is any chance there will be test rides open to the public for the Pandora rides if they truly are set to open in late May?

It would be great if we could experience it!

No way to know. One thing you can count on, if they start a soft opening on any attraction the boards here will explode.

I am also hoping to catch a soft opening, but I'm not holding my breath, either.

Hmm I think with it being a whole land they are opening they might not do soft openings as to not ruin the big reveal... that's my guess anyway

They need to test it in order to make sure everything works. At the very least they will do CM previews.

Would they do soft openings before the media event? I am hoping for an AP preview since ours expire June 3rd. If the media even is until the 27th and then the grand opening after that, it doesn't leave us many days to go before the 3rd. As for a soft opening for a land, I think they did them for NFL/Storybook Circus. I guess, technically, that is an extension of a land, but it felt like a whole new land and has just as much stuff as Pandora will.

I did a CM preview at DL, for the first year they ran Space Galaxy on their Space Mountain. It was so exciting and fun to ride with many CMs in their various costumes.

I have a trip in March, so no hope there for new AK stuff, but that is ok, I will see it in October.
