We're back from D.C. and we had fabulous luck with our panda viewing quest. We had four private viewings and several hours of seeing the panda family outside in the early mornings. The panda cub, Tai Shan, at the National Zoo has begun venturing out in the mornings around 7am and he IS a blast to watch. I've seen many baby animals, none much cuter than a 25 pound black and white rolling fur ball!!!! It was great! Anyone in the D.C. area-venture to the zoo EARLY to see Tai Shan. No tickets needed!!!!

We watch the panda cam all the time. Try the one on Animal Planet. It's easier to access.

That's good to know! So no tickets needed for outside viewing? About how long has he been staying outside in the mornings?
