We've never been on the Panama cruise and are planning on booking it when we retire. How far out will the dates be released and is there a way to receive notification from DCL to book early since we are platinum?

Thanks

Dates for the Westbound (spring) Panama Canal cruise for 2021 were just released today (Feb 26, 2021 / 14 nights) so approximately a year from today, the 2022 dates can be expected. i.e. fall of 2020.

You may not get notification from DCL (although there could be an email, i can't remember) but if you keep an eye on sites like the DIS, you'll see when people are discussing it.... and Platinum will get to book early; so today is Sept 26 and platinum gets to book on Sept 30. So assuming you were paying attention between Sept 26 and Sept 30 you could be ready to book the 2021 cruise. (just an example).

We’ve been cruising DCL for a number of years now. The cruise itinerary release email I just received yesterday is the first one I’ve gotten, so I wouldn’t count on an email announcing new cruise booking availability.
