Today was Magic Kingdom day!
We had at CRT @ 8:15 The resort bus for MK was never coming I thought to pick up ASMo.
We waited it seemed a lifetime from 7:30 till the bus came. I had this whole walk down main street dream in my mind. Get pics of the castle without crowds enjoy our stroll and sing I AM WALKING RIGHT DOWN THE MIDDLE OF MAIN STREET U.S.A....well I ran down main street usa! We were about ten mins. late for our PS but were still seated right away. Not as magical as the first time we ate here in 2000.
I guess it could be the rushing of all the blood to my heart from running. But I felt no magic really. I had butterflies...but I felt rushed right from the begin. Our server was a nice lady but right after getting sweet rolls and juice and coffee, breakfast was on the table also. We felt really rushed by the staff and only Mary Poppins seemed pleasant to me.But she is my favorite!
DD just wanted to go wake up tink the hole time. So I was a bit disappointed. SHH... DS seemed more excited then DD. So we got the bill and off to TRY and wake up tink. We must have just missed the rope drop, because I could see a bit of crowds in fantasy land and around Dumbo. We headed in to the store and I saw a little girl just getting down. DD was a bit upset, but the ladys in the store were very nice and let her also do it. She of course got a attitude and let me take a picture and then did not want the certificate. I did get it for her anyways.
We then got right on snow whites adv. and then did the carousel and Phil magic. No wait for any of them.
The 3d show is awesome. We loved this so much and walked right on to see it with no wait and no one in the show but maybe 25 people. The longest line we waited in this day was for Dumbo. We then headed to adventure land and made our way around the kingdom. This was my kids first time seeing the tiki room as it was close in 2000 and our first time seeing the new show. It was ok.
We saw the parade at 3pm from the corner of main which was a great spot. It was so hot though we were nothing but sweat when the parade ended. It was a really nice parade and my DD was excited that all the people shacked hands with her. After the parade we all did splash Mt. again and the kids and me did thunder Mt.
We then did stitch great escape which we liked. After that we ate dinner at cosmic rays which was pretty good food. We tried to do astro orbit but it broke down after we waited 15 min. The kids loved space MT. but boy did I forget how dark it is in there! We spent a bit of time in tomorrow land and we then headed up main street to watch the parade. Of course it was packed and we found a pretty good spot on main street. Our only problem was there was four adult men standing in front of us the during the parade. So DH had to put DD on his shoulders to see. These adult men five of them in there late thirties or forty's had no children with them and I thought that they would have at least sat on the curb so all the kids could see. We also had some older lady with no kids come push through my son to get in front of him to see the parade. I taped her on the shoulder and said excuse me can you see there is a children trying to see here. I felt really bad for all the kids around us because none could see that great but these grown man who at least could have let these children sit on the curb in front of them could see fine.
We then went and sat at the bridge of tommorowland to wacth the fireworks. I not can not tell you how great of a fireworks shoe WISHES is.
It has to be the best. We sat right under tink flying and DD now believes me that she is real! We had a great time waiitng for the fireworks a guard told us jokes and nicley asked DS to get down off the bridge. We also had a lot of laughs from a older man who kept coming up to us and telling us jokes. I think his family was embrassed but my kids love it. Leaving the MK park I think is the most magical thing at night. The music and lights on main street are just the best for me. I love it.
Mickey was up at the train station saying goodnight to us! What a great day!
