Are bookings ever available upon boarding, now that the Wish is no longer brand new?

Yes they are. Even when the Wish was new (we were on the maiden voyage) there was availability when you boarded.

We were able to get a brunch reservation on boarding our Wish cruise in March. Seemed that is was no problem as we had our pick of days and times.

Was able to snag a brunch reservation when we boarded the Wish today.

Dinner does generally seem easier. Enchante should be easier too, just like Remy is easier. However, I have gotten the feeling that the Wish is generally harder than the other ships. I think it's because so many veteran cruisers are going on it. Plus, people in general want to be on the new ship, so it may be more full than the others.

I think the large number of concierge cabins also contributes to this. I am glad to see the people of had more luck lately in getting brunch.

Plus shorter itineraries, so less 'opportunities' than longer cruises.

But yes, when I was on the Wish in April there was some availability on board (and it was a fully booked sailing).
