When we have done Palo brunch most men wore Dockers type pants, polo style or button down shirts and women wore dresses or dress pants w/nice top.
Why would you want to put the poor employee working the desk of having to tell you that you can't dine there when you already know that the dress code states no flip flops and no capris?
I've seen people in black jeans turned away before. We were once told by the Palo manager that only blue jeans are not acceptable, but black or tan coloured jeans would be fine.
(1) From the Disney website: " Please no jeans, shorts, capri pants, flip-flops or tennis shoes."
(2) If you are wearing very nice jeans, please see rule 1
(3) If you know someone who wore capri pants, please see rule 1
(4) If you have very dressy flip-flops, please see rule 1
(5) If you heard they don't always enforce the dress code, please see rule 1
(6) If the rules really aren't fair and you look great in dress jeans, please see rule 1
(7) If someone on the DIS boards told you capris are just fine, please see rule 1
(8) If you want to have a great time, appropriately dressed, at a classy restaurant, please see rule 1
What you tip (or don't tip) is entirely up to you, the tipper.I don't understand the $20pp tip when you only tip $7pp for an entire day of dining services. Not to say that $7 is appropriate, but if you tip based on a land meal cost why don't you tip the dining staff the same on a daily basis? Just trying to understand the reason for one and not the other. I've had OK to exceptional service in both Palo and the main dining room and I've always tipped appropriate for the service received setting $7 as "acceptable".
We tip more than the minimum in the main dining room (as long as service is good). I agree with Princessschmoo that this is at your discretion... as is Palo. Just saying how we think about it.I don't understand the $20pp tip when you only tip $7pp for an entire day of dining services. Well I think he looks very nice in them so I guess each to their own, we will see what happens when we show up and hope for the best. They weren't cheap pants / $100 a pair, and they are very plain grey so I don't see why they would turn him awayThere is zero chance I would be comfortable telling a man that those would be OK for Palo. I'd go on my own rather than walk in with someone with those on. If you can get it at REI, it shouldn't be worn at Palo.
IMO.
And I get that your'e talking about brunch. We've done brunch (DH wore Dockers and a buttondown long sleeved shirt with nice shoes) and dinner (DH wore his suit).
The key to nice clothes is to get them so they fit well and are just as comfortable as REI clothing. It's possible; you just have to try to do it.
Yes. In the US tennis shoes= sneakers, running shoes, basketball shoes, cross trainers, etc. Technically capris are any 3/4 pants.
