Palo on the first night

Who has done Palo on the first night? I read a post that someone felt the servers were more attentive and less rushed on the first night.

Did you feel that the food in the other restaurants was not up to par after eating there first? If you had table mates on the remaining nights, did you feel strange meeting them the second night, after everyone else had met? Any comments?

We did Palo on the first night of our three night cruise.

In all honesty the rest of the meals did pale in comparison to the meal we had there. They were good it was just that Palos is SOOO good.

The one thing that bothered me was that the next night at dinner each one of our servers plus the head server made multiple comments about us missing dinner the night before. It wasn't a huge deal but it got tiresome. I remember thinking at the time that it was almost as if we owed them an apology or something. I realize that sounds harsh but it really was the way it came off to me. I was surprised because I figured they were used to people missing a dinner to go to Palos.

We didn't have tablemates so I can't speak to that.

As far as Palos goes...the first night was a wonderful night to eat there. The servers were great and it really set the mood for an INCREDIBLE cruise experience!
