Palo Menu Question

Unless you're one of those people who consider a cruise an opportunity to be a glutton and can eat huge amounts of food day after day, then I highly recommend that you go to Palo early on in the week. I tend to eat on the reasonable side, often skipping dessert, and when we did brunch on the Thursday of our Magic cruise, I quite frankly did not have the appetite to enjoy it as much as I would have liked despite the fact that I had intentionally skipped breakfast in hopes of being a little hungry for Palo at 11:30.

The food at Palo is truly excellent and much more refined than elsewhere on the ship, so if you want to enjoy it, go on the Sunday or Monday. By late in the week, you may be tired of eating three full meals a day and of seeing people gorging themselves on multiple servings of this, that and everything! It was this second aspect that put a downer on dining for me on the cruise and ruined my appetite on occasion. I can still see the people rolling out of Topsiders with everything from pasta to seafood to mashed potatoes all piled up on the same plate...it kind of reminded me of the buckets of table scraps my parents used to save to feed the pig they raised each year when I was a kid growing up in the country.

Palo is excellent. Go early to really enjoy the food's flavor and quality.

Still wondering if anyone knows if you can order the lobster tail in Palo's on the night that it is served in the dinning room?

Thanks

OK, I'll admit that I'm one of the gluttons. But after 2 days on the ship I stop eating lunch. Sometime in the afternoon I'll go to Scoops and pick up some fruit (ya know the pineapple is very good  ) Ok, I'll get a cookie too but it's a lot less than if I went to the lunch buffetts. Even then, after 5 days I'm full all of the time!

I believe that the answer is ::yes:: yes ::yes::. But I've never been to Palo for dinner so I don't have first hand knowledge of this - but others have posted that they have had the lobster up there.
