Palo Meal - Platinum Members

We are finally Platinum Castaway Members and cruise next Saturday on the Fantasy. I believe we are given a free Palo dinner as a reward for attaining this status. However, my dear wife really only wants to go to brunch as she loves our full family dinners every evening. Has anyone ever swapped their free dinner for a brunch? The price is the same so I imagine Capt Mickey would be OK with a swap.

Has anyone every done this?

Also, how do you get credit for your free Palo meal? Are there vouchers in your room or something like that?

We have used it for brunch numerous times.

The credit will be in the system and they will apply it automatically on your first trip to Palo to eat.

You can use the complimentary meal toward brunch at Palo. You would get a bill for your meals, show your KTTWC and the charges would be reversed. Be sure to leave a tip though.

I would think you would want to have made reservations for Palo already for brunch as it tends to sell out quickly. Perhaps you can change on board if there is still space available on one of your sea days.

Thanks everyone! Yes, we have brunch plans with a large group set already. Nice to know that we will not be paying except for gratuity! The service is so fine at Palo that we are always happy to tip generously.

We usually use our Palo meal toward brunch however once we were denied and told it can only be used for dinner. This was about 4 years ago on the Wonder and I believe it had to do with the Palo manager at the time as others reported the same. With that said we have used it for brunch about 4 times since then with no problem.

Typically, the first time you dine in Palo, be it brunch or dinner, that's the comped meal. Even though, technically, it's supposed to be dinner (according to the info on the website), they generally don't enforce that.

It has always been given to us on our first meal at Palo.
We also like to ask for our complimentary Prosecco to be waiting for us at Palo when we have our dinner there (usually Pirate Night) and thats never been an issue.

Never had a problem using our comp for brunch instead of dinner. We prefer the brunch!! Yum!
