Palo Last Minute?

Hi all,

Just booked a last minute cruise for May 4th (the 5 day Bahamas on the Magic), and of course, all the Palo reservations are gone. Do they still save some spots for on-board ressies? How difficult is it to get one and what is the process? We would especially love to do the brunch, but dinner would be wonderful too. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

About half of the reservations are held for onboard booking. Go to the location for "Palo Ressies" noted on your Welcome Aboard Navigator (which you get at check in. Pay attention to the hours noted--sometimes they start doing reservations as soon as boarding starts, other times they don't start the reservations till 1 pm.

You can also talk to the CM who escorts you onto the ship (after the name announcement). THey will point you in the right direction.

I'm in the same boat as you -- literally! We just booked that exact cruise ourselves last week. I checked for Palo daily and 5 minutes ago, an opening popped up on our Key West day. I would keep checking and then definitely make a beeline for ressies once aboard, as the previous poster mentioned.

Another thing to keep in mind is that passengers have until 2pm the day of the ressie to cancel. I think you probably have a good shot at getting in one of the nights.

I ususally book Palo once I am onboard...have never been not able to get one...I am pretty flexible on dates, and times.

Hi Jenemmy- nice to hear you will be onboard!

I just completed online check-in and got an arrival time of 12:30-1:00. Do you all think that will make it more difficult to get a reservation?

Update---- I just got an 8:00 Palo reservation for our Nassau night!! Same night as the Pirates party, but I don't mind that in the least...we got Palo!!

Thanks for the information! I was initially disappointed I couldn't get dining reservations with a last minute booking too.
