We'll be on the June 13th Wonder (4 day) so we won't be packing any formal attire for dinner rotations. We are planning on dining at Palo's one evening. How do most people dress? Are people in formal/semi-formal wear? Just some guidance on what to pack would be great. Thanks!

Men should wear jacket and tie. Ladies can wear either a dress or nice pants outfit. Have a great cruise!

The following (below in quotes) is taken directly from the Disney Cruise line Web site. I believe at Palo that the "suggested" or "recommended" dress for men (not "required") is a jacket. Of course no jeans or shorts as well. There is no mention of a tie. I am not abdicating that anyone not wear a tie (been flamed before) but would like to point out that it is definitely not required and that others eating there in the past have also done without a tie and not felt out of place. Please don't flame me but I do not particularly like a noose around my neck, even for short periods of time. It completely ruins the dinner and atmosphere for me. On the other hand, if you like to to be even more formal, you will also feel comfortable in Palo. - Mike

"For Lumière's and Triton's restaurants and our adult-only alternative restaurant, Palo, it is suggested that men wear jackets and ladies wear dresses or trouser suits. We kindly request that no shorts, T-shirts or jeans be worn in any of our restaurants in the evening."

No flames, I was just replying to the question in terms of how we dressed. :) Should have left out the "should"--I stand corrected

tbuot - Thanks - I was referring to another thread and the flaming on this board is rather muted anyway. I just wanted the other poster to know that you need to be dressed up but it can range from whiteshirt/tie to jacket\nice shirt\no tie to jacket\tie all the way up to a tux if one desired. - Mike

Just off the 4/24 magic and got to eat at palo's 2 nights... the first night wore a nice shirt and tie, linen pants...felt over dressed compared to most people in the restaurant. 2nd night wore casual pants and nice short sleeve button up shirt felt better and more comfortable and most of the other men in the room were dressed this way...also saw men in tux's and suits and they looked very uncomfortable!

leave the ties home gentlemen! A nice shirt and dress slacks are appropriate....If you must, bring a jacket if it makes u feel more comfortable....The majority of men wearing jackets on the 4/4 wonder trip was less than just nice shirts and pants! And for the ladies, I and everyone in our group, wore nice capris, silky tops and sandals and did not feel out of place at all!:)
