Palo dress code debate closed...

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! That was the best part!

I couldn't disagree more. The garter was, in fact, the best part. :teeth:

I know I'm opening a can of worms here, but what exactly IS the dress code for dinner on a 3-night cruise (other than at Palo). There's no formal night, right?

Woman = Wedding Gowns

Men = Shorts and polo shirts:wave2: :teeth: pirate:

I think this is going to be one of those marriages where the wife does all the packing... :teeth:

Just wanted to chime in here and say that the flip flops were the best. I am not married, but your wedding looked like so much fun and I would love to have a fun wedding like that. If I have a long dress, I am wearing flip flops!!! I gave my sister flip flops for her to wear at her wedding, but she wasn't having it. The Bridesmaids all had long dresses and we all wore flip flops too!!! I think they were a great added touch!!

I keep hearing Pachelbels Canon in D in my head with the familiar slapping sound of the flip-flops adding percussion.

I like it.:teeth:

Had we known things would work out that way I am sure we could have talked my hubby into something else and maybe......I would have gotten rid of the flip flops.

No! I LOVE the flip flops! I think you should be in a Hip Bride magazine!

*ahem* And what's wrong with that?

So my momma used to dress me funny - and now my wife does. I'm a geek, so I don't care. :D

I got this and I had to wear the uncomfortable dyables to my own wedding. What is wrong with this picture???:teeth:

I, too, wore uncomfortable dyeables at my wedding. Yuk, my feet were killing me. I would have loved a pair of flip-flops. And DH wore a suit. First in his life. He would've killed for shorts, too. And now I dress DH even funnier, I make him wear a suit for formal night. (Sam, mine's a geek, too. I've threatened him with putting his outfits together like the kids, the heads and bodies things called Garanimals.) But lookinforthesun, if he is from South Dakota, shouldn't he have worn a fur-lined anorak and muk-luks? (Coming from a descendant of Homesteaders in Pierre.)

Dyables? The morning of my wedding I realized that I had forgotten to buy shoes at all! I had gone all out, designed my own dress, hand-sewed the beads, it turned out beautiful....but no shoes!

I ran to the mall and God was smiling on me that day. I walked out with a beautiful pair of Cinderella slippers that were actually comfortable. I should forget major portions of clothing more often!

Oh, and my Dad wore white tennis shoes with his tux to walk me down the aisle:p
