I see on Dave's site, the menu for Palo dinner... How about the brunch?

Nice presentation at the castawayclub website, tho it's hard to read!

Hope that helps!

I'll try hard to remember, it is a buffet!

sweet rolls, fruit, cheese, Shrimp (peeled!), crab legs, alaskan king crab, beef tenderloin, made to order, pasta made to order, eggs benedict, chicken marsalis, Coffee mouse, sweet pizza, mushroom pizza, tomato pizza (these by the way are not your regular pizzas! and are made fresh for you),

There is so much more, maybe others can add.

Here's a picture of the dessert table.

Without question, this was the best meal we had on the ship.

I had some kind of amazing bread slathered with cream and jam and I still have dreams about it. I can't wait for our cruise next April bc I can't wait for this brunch again.

I am dieting now in anticipation.

Palo Brunch...YUMMY!!! My DH and I loved it!!! There was such a wonderful delicious selection! The stollen was delicious and so was about everything else we had! We can't wait until we cruise again so we can go back!!!

Brunch is the best.

On our first cruise we did the Tea, the Brunch and the Dinner.

On our second one we only did the Brunch. We found the Brunch far better than the dinner at our taste.

It is a must.

We just got back from the 6/19 Western and the Palo's Brunch was amazing! It is a buffet. It has lots of seafood (crab legs, shrimp, and others), 3-4 made to order hot meals (ie: beff, tilapia, chicken, omelets and more), and assortment of breads, sweet rolls, pastries, cheeses. It also has their pizzas. These are fantastic we didn't try them at the brunch but had them at dinner. And then it has the desserts. And of course a glass of champagne. I highly recommend it it is definetely worth the extra money.

Is the brunch available on port days as well? We're thinking of staying on ship in Nassau and thought that would be a good day to do brunch and the spa.

This was probably the stollen -- it was awesome.

mcnuss,
I too dream of the almond stollen bread with cream and jam. I asked they gave me three recipes on board the ship but none are the exact of that bread. We had a great server Jemma who packed up slices for me to take back to our room. I enjoyed it with coffee the next morning too.

Glad you enjoyed Palo Brunch, and our DD's service. Poor Gemma - I see she is still having to wear her name badge spelt incorrectly! I guess Gemma is not a common name in USA? We just loved the cappuccinno mousse. Worth paying the fare for that alone! How I wish we were there now! Nat:Pinkbounc

No matter how her name is spelled, Gemma aka Jemma is an absolute delight!! We brunched at Palo on Father's Day and it was relatively uncrowded. We were fortunate enough to have drawn Gemma as our tour guide (calling these folks "servers" just doesn't seem quite right) and she insisted on making the stollen dessert just as she does "at home." I think we'd have been happy just to feast on that, but there were too many other things to be sampled!

We had such a good time with Gemma, we asked for her to be our server at dinner and on the Thursday brunch as well. She is a wonderful person and is great at pampering you!

It's only available on the 4 night Wonder on the "day at sea" ... last year when the day at sea was substitued with Freeport then the brunch wasn't available at all.

On the 7 day Western it is offerred 3 days. The day in Key West and the 2 days at sea.
