We will be on the Dream in a few weeks and my daughter needs to eat gluten free. Would the Palo Brunch work for her? Thanks:)

Yes, I believe they can accommodate gluten free at Palo. You'll want to have it noted on your reservation.

Enjoy your cruise!

I thought that was the adult only dining place? I am second guessing, but I don't think we dined there. I listed the ones we ate at and everywhere we went was able to accommodate our gluten allergy on the ship. (photos in siggy link). We didn't find the options to be very creative, but we had plenty to eat. :)

I ate at both Palo and Remy ( brunch and dinner at both) and I am extremely gluten intolerant. Palo even made me a fabulous gluten free chocolate soufflé for dessert. For brunch at Palo the chef came out and went through the buffet with me, I showed him what I wanted and he went in the back and made my plates for me so there would be no chance of cross contamination. They did the same thing on embarkation day at Enchanted Garden. At Remy, everything was prepared to order for both brunch and dinner. They made sure we had the same waiter for both meals at Remy. We also had the same waiter for both meals at Palo. This saved me from having to explain everything multiple times. I did not get sick from any of my meals at Remy or Palo. At the counter service restaurants near the pool, simply ask for GF, the chef will come out and help. They have packaged chocolate chip cookies that were great and even gave me some for the room. At the pizza counter, they opened up an Amy's GF frozen pizza and cooked it to order and added whatever veggie toppings I wanted. Overall, it was a great experience. The first day I simply confirmed with the Maître d at each restaurant and the head waiter and my own waiter. Also,at the ice cream place, they keep a separate quart of a GF ice cream (no choice of flavor though) that they will scoop for you. I brought all sorts of food with me but didn't really need to eat any of it. Note: If you are celiac, bring your own soaps and shampoos because the stuff on board is not GF.

How was your gluten free Remy dinner? I am debating but don't want to spend $75 for just a so so meal.

Sorry I missed seeing this until now. The meal was fabulous. I didn't have a choice between the French and American...they said I needed to do American because it hade more room for flexibility to keep it all safe. Just make sure that you tell them it's okay for your spouse to have gluten because they will err on the side of safety. It was a very special meal.
