Palm Parkway Route between Univ. and Disney

I'm seeing posts about a new Palm Parkway route between Un. and Dis. Why is this route better than I4? Less traffic? Are there many traffic lights, and how do I get on Palm P. from Caribbean Beach resort? thanks for info.

It is a fairly new road that is barely used. It runs in a straight line from SR 535 (Apopka-Vineland) to USF/IOA and does not have the back-ups of I-4.
From the Carribean Beach:<ul>1) Make a right out of the main entrance of the CB.(Buena Vista Drive)
2) Make a right onto Hotel Blvd. and go to the Crossroads (535), turn left.
3) Make a right on to Palm Parkway.
4) Go straight on Palm Parkway (it changes into Turkey Lake Rd.)[/list]
Maybe 5 or 6 lights at the most.

I was wondering about that myself.
