Pal Mickey

an apology for being ignorant, but...what/who is Pal Mickey? :flower:

Pal Mickey does in fact work on the ship. He is an assistant to the head chef and his specialties include "rat"atouille and chocolate "mouse". On slower days he is in charge of overseeing that all the pasta is cooked to the perfect texture we commonly refer to as "ro dente".

Rsjj, Pal Mickey is a stuffed Mickey doll that is available at WDW. You can carry him around with you and he tells you the times of shows for the park you are in, facts about rides and he tells jokes. He is a little pricey, $60, I think, but it is a pretty neat idea and worth the money.

Par8hed, lol :rotfl2: :rotfl: That is hilarious. I'll have to keep an eye out for him on the ship. :rotfl2:

Just bought one and he is $69. and some cents inclusive of tax. When he first came out, he was only $45.00 -

The new "Happiest Celebration on Earth" Pal Mickey in a tuxedo is $88.00

Sad to hear he doesn't work on the cruise- when I saw this post it got my hopes up.

$88.00???? I just bought him two weeks ago and he was $68. (and some cents) and he was in the Tuxedo. I was even given the DVC shirt at the time, when I showed my DVC membership card. I bought him at Sarasota Springs Resort.

We bought a Pal Mickey for our DGS early last year at WDW and he loves it. We're going on a cruise in Sept with DCL and of 'course taking Pal Mickey along, changed batteries a couple times but his little jokes still seem to crack up Mr. four year old. I asked him was he packing up Pal Mickey for the cruise and he said no he has to ride up front and go in the carry on. :goodvibes It has been the best $60.00 we spent.
