Ok, I read about this cute lil' guy in my Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World (2005). He sounds so cool! Is he worth the $60 to buy???? I know that while in the parks he gives info, tells jokes, plays games, etc. but does anyone know what he does when you leave? I know he won't give all the info, but will he still play games, tell jokes, laugh, etc? Anyone that has one or has used one, PLEASE FILL ME IN!!! He seems really cool. By the way, I am 22 year old female who will be going to WDW in one month with my 24 year old boyfriend. No kids, just us but we are like big kids. Is it for us? ::MickeyMo
Also, can I bring him back on a later trip and will he still be usable and informative? Thanks in advance! :wave2:

I have one.

He does still tell jokes when you get him home and he has three different games you can play. I bought mine when they first came out. I've taken him back to the parks a couple times and he still works. He gets reset with current park info as you walk through the gate of the park.

His batteries wear out pretty quick sitting around at home, but they are fine at the park. I understand if they wear out at the park, they will exchange them for free.

I've got about ten years on you and I still think he's cute!

missygayle,
Great! I think he sounds ingenious! I am definitely going to get one. Does anyone know if he is available at the Pop Century (where I am staying)?

i was there in October and he was in the shops at the resorts. I'm trying to remember if he was in Pop Century. I know he was in the All-Stars, so he would have to be at Pop too. He's just about every where.

Just remember to have him out and facing forward when you enter the park. That's how his chip gets set as to where you are. If not, he may still think you're in the last park you were in. If that happens, you can take him into a shop & they can reset him. (I had that happen to me. That's how I learned to have him out and facing forward when you go through the turnstiles.)

Have fun with him.

Thanks for the advice. I will definitely have to remember to keep him facing forwards so he doesn't get confused. :earboy2:

I just checked some info I have and it looks like they don't sell him at Pop Century (just about every other resort, but not that one). He is also $60 so definitely plan that into your budget.
