PAL Mickey?

Has anyone taken a PAL Mickey to the parks lately? I was wondering if he still works there or if they've removed the sensors for him.

Thanks to anyone who knows for sure.

P.S. I know they don't sell him anymore, but I already have one I bought several years ago.
