PAL Mickey

I am going to Disney in Oct, I have heard about the Pal Mickey and what they are, what do the current version look like? I have an 8 and 3 y/o so I think they would enjoy it, any comments? Thanks

Not sure what they look like now, but we have a Pal Mickey from 9/06. My kids were a bit too little to enjoy him then (2.5 and 1.5), but when we go in Oct we plan to bring him again with us (I understand that he will still work, provided we turn him on before we enter the park for the day).

I put new batteries in him the other day and he still tells jokes and plays games. In hte park he can tell you what line might be short, where a chara might be, or interesting facts. Is he worth the $65...if you plan on using him again sure! If you really hate it, you can sell him in ebay for a chunk less than what you paid to recoop some of the $$!

I have 2 of them and they work great they give you things you need to know before you enter any park.

I have taken my Mickey to WDW 3x now and he is going back again in Aug.! I love the weird places he goes off after each update ( Yes, you can update him) and I also like the information he give. I also like to put him in my ride photos!
You have to remember to keep him with you when you get off rides, but if you can remember that, you will enjoy him!
