I believe to make him play games you press both of his hands at the same time. As for the parks, make sure you have him turned on and facing forward as you walk through the turnstiles so he recognizes the park he is in.
I loved our (my) Pal Mickey. I found that carrying him by a lanyard was really heavy around my neck so I bought one of those water bottle straps they sell at the drink carts for $3.50. It's like a lanyard but it's longer and instead of the clip at the end there's a "noose". I slipped it around Mickey's head, cinched it up, and wore it across my chest like a messenger bag. Mickey hung below my waistline and when he had something to say I just held him up to my ear. And it was at the right height for my kid to listen to him too. It was a lot easier to carry him this way, I took him with us everyday because with this method I didn't notice the extra weight and it kept my hands free. The Epcot strap is really neat. It has all the countrys' flags around it. But each park has its own design. Just an idea.
HTH! He's alot of fun!
