Has anyone bought the Pal Mickey and tried him and if so are they really worth the extra cash? And I have read that they are a bother to carry around as they do not stay attached to you is that so? :confused3

Personally, I've had a pal mickey for the last three tips that i've taken. I love it. If you're travelling with children it's good because he'll tell jokes every once in a while you're walking around. I never had a problem with him coming unclipped from my belt, and he was very helpful with park tips, wait times, and show times.

I always thought he was supposed to be really expensive so I never tried. How much is he?

Mickey is about $60-$70. I did not buy one I was about to but decide that the park map and the white sheet of paper that has the other info on it was better and free. We just did what we wanted and if we did not get to do it then there is always nect time.

We have the old and new Pal Mickey. The new one has a lanyard, which makes him easier to carry. BUT the lanyard closes with velcro. So my cousin brought me a safety pin to pin it. It was staying closed okay with the velcro, but DS kept undoing it and I was worried it wouldn't stay together.

Pal Mickey was great. We love his silly jokes. :lmao:

I am hoping to do a basket for the room as a suprise for my DH and DS when I arrive in September. I have been going on Peg's website and making my list of what I hope to get put into it. I have this on my wish list but... how old are the kids that have used it? I know I will most likely be the one to carry it. My son will be 1 month removed from 4 years old by the time of our trip. Will he "get" the jokes? It's expensive so I want to make sure I make the right choice.

I am also considering this for our family. I am hoping that he might be entertaining for the kids to play with in line. Since my daughter is really into princesses, I hope that PM can also help us by letting us know where the princesses are on an ongoing basis. One of my friends will be going to Disney and we might "split" the cost of PM.
