PAL Mickey Questions...

I was just asked about Pal Mickey and I don't have one. What should I know if I'm thinking about buying one. What does it do? How much does it cost? Where should I buy one? What are the downfalls?

We just used him for the first time during our April trip. We loved him! Especially my dd8. he downloads information inside the parks and gives you tips, history and other stories. Outside the parks he tells jokes and plays games. He retails for $60 (still that?) but you can sometimes get him on Ebay for less including shipping. The character warehouse carries him sometimes for about half that price. He is worth it imho.

It was posted a few days ago that he is now $70. However,if you have PAP you can get him at the main DTD Disney store and use the passport discount, which I think is 20%. And if you go to the offical WDW site

you can play a game and then print a cert. and get a special pin for him.
They also have info on him there. However, some computers don't seem to like this site... there has been posts about it. The game is a card matching one, and you can't lose!
Getting him next trip, I have put it off for the last 2-3 trips...
