Pal Mickey Problems?

Has anyone had any problems with their Pal Mickey? I purchased our in January and now it is sounding like it is stuck and hiccuping. I'm leaving in 17 days for WDW and I want to be able to use him...have you heard of them "fixing" Pal or replacing him if he is broken?

He does that when he needs new batteries.

It happened to us while we were at WDW. DS freaked thinking he had broken it. Put new batteries in, and he was as good as new.

My pal does this when we try to play with him at home. I have changed the batteries, and he still is freaking out. He works fine at WDW (he's been 3 times), but when we take him home he freaks out again. So I don't know what to tell you.

3 AA's "ALKALINE" or better.
