I don't know if you'll ever see such a "pixie dust" post from me again...

Last time I went down to Disney, last summer, I didn't take many pictures at all, and I regret it immensely.

To say the least... I'm not going to make the same mistake again.

I'm going to be a compulsive shutterbug, and intend to fill up rolls upon rolls of film to sufficiently document my trip. My aunt, who's taking me, is also requesting that I come up with a "theme" for a scrapbook she's going to make, and I decided to do a sort of "Pal Mickey" thing, inspired by a photo gallery of someone I saw on another Disney forum. I must stress that these are not my pictures or captions...

I don't want to hotlink to her images, but I'd bet that a lot of people here would appreciate them.

Anyway, since I'm going to be taking so many pictures, I was wondering if anyone wanted to contribute "clever" ideas or if anyone had any specific requests of anything they'd like to see. For the record, being the total nerd I am, I plan to go all out: Pictures of Mickey at dinner, etc etc.

Yeah, I guess I am going to be a seventeen year old male carrying around a stuffed animal through Disney World, but nevermind that.

Haha..er...don't judge me. :yo-yo:

Thank you so much for this link. I was wanting to get a Pal Mickey this trip and do something like this, and that site has given me some great ideas!

I think this is a clever little plan! I love that you are a 17yo planning to do this!

I was trying to decide some places for you to do the pictures, and I came up with a couple.

Isn't there a "car" in front of the Speedway that Mickey could sit in, or take him on the Speedway and take a picture of him in the driver seat (not that I'm suggesting you stop your vehicle in the back of the ride to switch seats with him or anything! ;) )

In Toontown, on Donald's boat, there are portholes - you could put him up in one and say something about the boat.

Also in Toontown, you can go to the mailbox in front of Mickey's house and have him "checking the mail".

Take a picture of him "Shooting aliens for his friend Buzz"

What about in Liberty Square at the stockade?

I'll keep thinking! In fact, I may have to do something like this myself!
:) :)

I think Pal Mickey would love to have his picture taken with 'the kitchen sink' at Beaches and Cream (you may have to help him eat it, though ;) ) !!

My kids love posing across the lagoon from SE (somewhere around Japan works well) - they hold their hand up and I position it to look like they are holding SE in the palm of their hand - corney, I know, but we have years ! of these pics and they make us smile! Now there's a challenge for Pal Mickey (and you to try and position him) !! Have fun - I'll be trying some of these ideas next trip - loved my Pal Mickey !!:smooth:

This is such an awesome idea we had to clone it! DD has a favorite stuffed animal, Ashley, who is with us on our summer vacation. DD is now going to make an Ashley's Summer Vacation scrap-book, and we started with photos of Ashley at EPCOT today, in some of the topiaries, next to Figment with a cast member, on a few rides...thanks for the great idea! :)
