Our neighborhood has organized a Supper Club. There are 6 families and one family hosts a Supper Club every month. I have picked July because we have a pool.
We decided to do a Beer Tasting. I know NOTHING about beer.:confused3

My goal is to have some really exotic beers and pair them with food.
Is there a website that might help me?
How do I know what kind of food to plan for if I've never tasted the beer before?

By the way, Everyone in our neighborhood LOVES Supper Club!! The kids (ages 16-3) look forward to it every month!

I'd appreciate any help I can get!

lots of information but could be difficult because there are so many types of beer. you might want to narrow it down domestics/imports, ales/lagers.

You should think of pairing beer the same way you think of pairing wine.

For fish I would go with a nice lager Maybe a Mexican like Modelo or Pacifico.

For Chicken during the summer Blue Moon would be good because it is refreshing. Serve it with a slice of orange.

For Ribs or other BBQ think of an Ale not to dark maybe a Killians Red or something similar. You could also do a darker lager like Sam Adams

For Steak- go dark like a stout Guiness. If you don't want to go that dark Negro Modelo.
