painting?

I decided I need new art for my living room and bought 20 little canvas boards. I want each person in my family to paint one, problem is I have no clue what colors go with my living room. I have a black tv stand, blue couches, black end tables, a blond wood coffee table, and a grey chair. For accents I have blue, green and purple in my rug and lamp shades. Any suggestions? My walls are off white.

Maybe dont worry about matching and go funky. Fuscia, orange, lime etc.

Go funky or choose three or five colours to match what is in the living room. Give a canvas and the colours to each person and tell then to have fun.

I love the idea. It is very unique.

Im kinda scared to see what my family comes up with. Giving them paint could be BAD!! Lol
