Paint the Night & Wondrous Journeys

Hoping to catch the 8:50 Paint the Night and the 9:35 Wondrous Journeys fireworks show - where is the best spot that provides decent viewing for both without having to move? Thanks!

This is where me and my family were at. We got their about 1 1/2hrs early to secure the curb so we could sit and then our stroller was right there and my kids could just hang out. Right after the parade ended, we stood up and immediately walked onto Main Street and had our spot for fireworks!

Edit to add a map of the parade route. The arrows indicate the direction of the 8:50 parade. The 10:50 parade goes in the opposite direction.

We just did this last week! Had the best spot right where the ropes end near the churro stand to the right of the front of the castle. Watched Paint the Night and then we were practically front and center for fireworks after! Waited about 1.25 hours there sitting!

We watched from the Small World area, which was great. We stayed for the fireworks after Paint The Night was over. They do the projections on Small World.

how early are people securing spots for the 2nd run of PNT?

When we watched the second showing from Main Street there were alot of great spots left. We arrived around 10 minutes before the parade and were able to walk right up to the curb to watch. I suppose that could depend on the day, though.

We watched from the Small World area, which was great. We stayed for the fireworks after Paint The Night was over. They do the projections on Small World.

I got there pretty close to when the parade started, maybe 10 minutes. We were behind some people but since that area is raised we had a good view. You'll get an even better spot if you arrive earlier, though.
