Paint the Night/WOC/Fantasmic HELP!

So my husband and I are going to the parks at the end of April! We (by we I mean me, let’s be honest LOL. He doesn’t pay much attention to this stuff) were all set to do the Hungry Bear Fantasmic package and the WOC dessert party (if we could get both at the 60 day mark).

Now the Paint the Night packages are out and I have no idea which we should do. Any ideas? We have 5 days at the parks so time isn’t an issue. My husband has never seen Fantasmic and neither of us have seen Paint the Night or WOC.

Ideas/advice would be very helpful!

Time may end up being an issue depending on which nights you're there. World of Color should show every night. But Fantasmic! is usually just Fri/Sat/Sun. I don't know what they do with PtN. If that is weekends only, too, and if you have only have one weekend night, you may have to choose.
I may be facing the same decisions when we go Mon-Fri in Sept.

Are you sure? I see it on the calendar showing every day. I am just curious as I am as well looking to see what they do as we are going late September and I want to book River Belle Terrace. :)

I will also be there end of April and I believe WOC won’t be offered then but F! and Paint the night might be every night if the pattern I see for dining reservations stays the same.

I would prioritize WOC and Paint the Night as it would be a new experience for both of you. 5 Days is a lot of time at the parks, and you can score a decent seat at Fantasmic as long as you go early with a fastpass.

If I were in your shoes, I would put the WOC Dessert Party as a #1 priority. I did it last year, and it was one of the best experiences at any Disney Park I've ever had. Sitting at your own table with a great plate of desserts and drinks was awesome. I would also save my money with the Hungry Bear package and go eat somewhere better like Carthay or Blue Bayou. It's a bit difficult with PTN as it will be in a new location, so we don't really know how that will be. If I had the choice between PTN and F! packages if you were truly set on either or, I would pick PTN.

Thank you everyone! We will be there Tuesday-Saturday so we’ll have two weekend days to see shows.

I'd WOC dessert party #1. After that I'd probably go with fantasmic because I think it will be easier to find a spot to see PTN than Fantasmic- especially if there is a late showing of PTN.

That’s what I am leaning toward! From what I can tell PTN is just a night parade. I’m not sure I’d want to spend the $$$ just for a parade when we can just get a spot early.

Definitely looking for the cheapest option!
I did it twice and I feel like the value is fine for the nice seat on the ground. Just be forewarned that the food options are really underwhelming. I had the riblets, which were too sweet for my taste and difficult to eat (think bone-ribs cut into two-inch pieces). My husband had the BBQ chicken which he thought was pretty meh. The rice side is very sweet with some kind of fruit in it. The second time I ordered off the regular menu. Just a cheeseburger and fries, nothing to write home about but I liked it better than the riblets. Maybe the salmon offering is good?

So you can order from the regular menu with the fastpass package? I would rather do that - and just figure the extra $$ is the cost of the fastpass and spot to sit. Figure we have to eat anyway! One of my kids is kind of picky, too, but he likes the HB kids stuff

Yep we all got meals from the regular menu. Note that no dessert is included but everything else is. We figured the same: just paying $15-$20 for good spots per person. We were able to sit exactly where we wanted which was right next to the Blue Bayou area and about halfway up. I prefer that to the railing because it blocks the view.
