Last Thursday there was nothing. A few spots on the TL side where CMs had roped off areas and people had pushed so far forward there was room for more people to squeeze in the back. But you'd have to be able to see over people standing 3-4 deep. I ended up going to Jolly Holiday for dinner and has to stand way in the back because it was so packed with people. This was about 45 minutes before the parade was scheduled to start, an hour before it reached the area. I was also there Monday, thought only tried for fireworks. Still, just walking down Main St around 7:15 it was already packed. We found a decent spot for fireworks about 10 minutes before, though our view of the projections were blocked by a tree on one side, so that's probably why it was less densely packed. On a night with 2 parades it might not be as bad. But when the parade is at 8pm, fireworks at 8:40 and park closes at 9pm, it's a mad house.
