Paint the Night Parade?

Does anyone know if the Paint the Night Parade is just for the 60th anniversary or will it be continued next year? I saw a video of the parade on You Tube and it looks AMAZNG! But I am not going to Disneyland until 2017. I really hope it will still be there!!

Paint the Night debuted for the 60th Anniversary Celebration, but I think it'll be presented for several years. Most parades run for many years; the Soundsational Parade debuted in 2011 and the Pixar Play Parade debuted in 2008 and both are still being presented. In most cases, given the cost of developing a parade, they're going to run for years. I do think there will come a point when they may reduce the presentation frequency (e.g., only on the weekends during the non-peak season) or may put it on hiatus (e.g., if they decide to present the Christmas parade at night), but I doubt they'll retire it anytime in the near future.

I agree with Figment and REALLY hope he's right. I just don't see Disney getting rid of it quickly as it is expensive. We haven't get to see it and are still more than a year from a return trip.

PTN was developed for Disneyland Hong Kong and then brought over to DLR for 60th. So it isn't a special parade for 60th really.
