Paint the Night parade question

PtN is the new nighttime parade that debuted at the kickoff to the 60th anniversary celebration. It will likely be presented for several years, so it will last well beyond the 60th Anniversary Celebration itself.

Great! Thanks!
We have to reschedule our trip to either June or October next year. If it was just a 60th thing,it would really make a difference in when we go. Ds was sooo excited to see Mack in the parade

I don't think anyone knows what the schedule will be for Paint the Night beyond 2015, just that it will continue on for the foreseeable future. On another site earlier today, I was reading some speculation about the parade, and there are people who think that PtN will eventually settle into a schedule where it runs in the summer, but that the Christmas parade will ultimately return at night for the holidays, and the Cavalcade (or maybe a new Halloween parade) will eventually return to the Halloween party. I think someone even mentioned the possibility of PtN moving over to DCA at some point down the road.

So, there is no telling what will happen or how often Paint the Night will be presented beyond 2015, and especially beyond summer of 2016, but it is likely to continue in some capacity for years.

Based on previous Halloween times, do you think PTN will still run even with a Halloween party running?

Its not THAT spectacular, IMHO
Well, when you have a 4-yr-old son who LOVES Cars with Mack being his fave character, and he's already seen this parade online and knows it's there, this parade is a pretty big deal :)

Probably for a while. Well, this year, of course, PtN is running as part of the Halloween Party, as well as on non-MHP nights. If and when it scales back a bit to a lighter schedule, I think it would eventually be taken out of the Halloween party and then probably run on non-party nights. I don't know if it would run on all non-party nights -- as I mentioned, I read some speculation where people were saying that they thought it would eventually be reduced to a summer schedule -- but at least some. I don't think it will be substantially scaled back for quite a while -- maybe not even in 2016 -- but everything is so up in the air once we get past 2015 and past the summer of 2016.

THanks Sherry! running on only non-party nights shouldn't be a big deal if we do go in October. I'm planning for 5 full days so we should be able to catch PtN some time.
