Paint the Night during Halloween?

Assuming that Paint the Night is still around in October, how is it typically offered? On non-party nights?

There is no typical for that. The parade has never been in DCA before now and we don’t know what park the party will be in this year. Hopefully you’ll find out the answer to the park in July and maybe they’ll mention if PTN will run as a part of the party. (I wouldn’t think so because the party has its own parade but who knows?)

They actually did run PTN as part of the Halloween Party at DL the year we were there. But that was before the Halloween party expanded and PTN was in greater demand. I was disappointed because we paid for the party and could have seen PTN any other night.

Yes but wasn’t that for the 60th and PTN ran for like a year in honor of that. Hmmm... so do people think they would shelve the party parade again this year in favor of PTN if they end up in the same park?

I just really want to see PTN. And if it won’t be available in the Halloween season, that might alter my plans.

Thank you for the responses! I guess I’ll be watching/waiting along as well!

PTN is a fantastic parade but it's second best to me when compared to the Halloween party parade. I don't really care for most parades but these two really are great but I dislike dealing with the parade crowds. People can get really rude and hostile and that makes watching them kind of pain. Paying extra for some special seating is usually a rip off but I think it might be worth it not to have to deal with a bunch of #$*&@ at the parades. Hopefully both of these parades will be a DCA this year since the crowds seem so much more pleasant watching a parade there.

We love the Halloween parade but I hope they still run PTN on non-party nights...Oct/Nov is our time of year to go and since it's "offseason" parades always get the shaft.
