Ok - You all were very helpful with my earlier question about dining packages for WOC at DCA. Now, I'm looking at the cost/benefit of the dining package for Paint the Night at DL.

I can't seem to find the price at all for either the Blue Bayou option or the Aladdin's Oasis to-go option.

Also, I'm trying to figure out if I'm going to get a dining option for a show, which is a better show, Paint the Night or WOC?

It's been a little over 2 years since we last visited the parks, and the last time we were there it was Christmas.

Looking forward to your opinions!

Thanks!
Kerri

I enjoyed "Paint the Night" more. But, I think it's difficult to say which is the "better show" since it will probably come down to a personal preference.

From memory, Aladdin's Oasis lunch option was ... around $28. I think. My email reservation / booking doesn't have the price, so I could be wrong.

Definitely recommend Aladdin Oasis. We did it just a few weeks ago, and have no complaints. Its 14.00 dollars for kids and 24.00 dollars for adults. Our 3 kids ate the mac and cheese, they loved everything. Also, my husband and I had the lasagna, we loved it! My aunt had the chicken, it was good, a little dry. We had the reserve spot my Its a small world, and we loved it! IT was my aunts first time to Disney, so we wanted her to have a great spot to view the parade. We felt it was worth the price and the reservation for the PTN.

if you have seen the original WOC the new one might be a bit of a let down. it was for me anyhow. we did a dining package for it rather than PTN and I kind of wish I had done it the other way. If WOC stays as it is I'm gonna do PTN for our october trip instead.

you have a lot of info above about Aladdin's Oasis so ill just show you what i know abut the BB option. the viewing area is on main street.

We've got the PTN on the go package reserved for the end of August, glad to know it's worth it!! We missed seeing PTN on our last trip in October I was SO UPSET!!!! So this time I'm making sure NOT to miss it!

Did you stay for the fireworks afterwards? If so, was it still a good location? I read that Disney does the same projections on It's a Small World as it does on the castle.

I think we might need to do this for PTN. We have a request in (fingers crossed for some pixie dust) for a WOC view in our villa, so with a little luck this would let us see both. (I can't do the crazy crowds. I had to give up Fantasmic at DL entirely.)

We did, but unfortunately the fireworks were cancelled. But that was the plan!
