Paint the Night and Disneyland Forever Previews

They've also been allowing CMs to register for various after hours previews in the week leading up to the 22nd.

I'm really disappointed in the whole thing. I've been getting email alerts for the Disney Blog waiting for something like this and nothing. I clicked the link IMMEDIATELY! :'( :'(

Really wish they would do a d23 or AP preview, but they confirmed on Twitter there would be no AP preview.

Really, no AP preview??!! That sucks. I have also been watching for those. So disappointing :(

I am wondering, if they are having the WOC premiere on Wed night, will they then show the new show on Thu? Maybe we wouldn't have to wait until Fri to see that!

I can't believe how fast these went. I was just on the Disney Blog before 2 hours ago. Booooo.

Well maybe the people watching those nights will make a little more room for us by not watching on the 22nd.

This preview takes away from the experience of being the first to see it on the actual celebration. Booo and Booo.
I have a feeling the 22nd is going to be ridiculously crazy! :headache:

I was able to get World of Color on Wednesday, but by the time I clicked for the Fireworks on Thursday, they were out of tickets. They "sold out" in less than 5 minutes. I was just lucky enough to be on Twitter when the announcement was first made. On the pro side, they were limited to 100 people (plus one guest) so I'm hoping that that will mean we won't be too packed in for it (I know there will be press and Cast Members and probably Club 33 members and VIPs and.... like 500 other people, but I'm still hoping I'll be able to see it) :teeth:

Good for you! At least someone from DIS Boards got in! :D

That would be a nice surprise, but I wonder if they would announce it or if it would just be "luck" when you're watching.

Oh yeah it will be less crowded and amazing! VIP's event. Lol. I'm happy for you. I probably would have chose World of Color too because I am not sure I will be able to get a fastpass for the 10:15pm showing.

This was recently posted on the Disney Parks blog. Was anyone able to sign up?

It's already full and I'm soooo bummed I missed out! I will be there the afternoon of the 21st too! I wonder if this means they will show the new WOC show on Thu the 21st. I may check that out.

I am also very curious about this. Would they really have the "premiere showing" on Wednesday, 20th but then switch back to the old WOC for Thursday, 21st - then back to the new WOC again on Friday, 22nd? Wouldn't that be too much work? I'm seriously considering signing up for a WOC Dining Package for Thursday in hopes it might be the new show. Any other thoughts out there???

I would hope that they would announce it. I've never seen any of the WOC shows so I might not even know the difference if they didn't say anything! Oh wait, yes I would, they have Neil Patrick Harris in this new one, so that would tip me off!

They were able to switch between the regular show and Holiday version without any down time, so it wouldn't surprise me if they did the preview and then went back to the old show on the 21st and reset it for the new show on the 22nd.

I know, I'm considering a dining package for that night now too. I'm arriving in the afternoon that day so I'd be worried that FPs would be gone by the time I get there.

I wonder if CM would be honest if you asked them that day if it was the new show or the old show. I'm not too interested in seeing the old show as we've seen it and it's just a lot of standing.

Thanks. When you consider the Park Blogs Twitter has almost a million followers, I consider myself extremely lucky to be one of 200 that got tickets to either event. But I must admit I'm super happy about getting the tickets for WOC. I was going to see it the next week with a Fastpass dining package, but now I can save $50. :D
