Paint shop Pro is there a difference

between JASC and COREL ??? sorry if this is a stupid question but i have no clue and i am trying to figure out which one would be better for digital scrapbooking.
I have the trial of corel but again is there a difference?

Corel bought Jasc in 2004, so Corel is the most recent release. Jasc versions would be older versions.
