Paid upgrades at DLH if booked on DVC?

We're booked at DLH using DVC points in November. When we check-in can we ask for a paid upgrade to a nicer room category, assuming a room is available? We're booked in the standard category.

We did this in 2005 at PPH but weren't sure they still did this.

Not sure about the answer to your question, but if the hotel isn't very full many guests have gotten room view upgrades at the very least. When we stayed at DLH in May the building was half empty and we got a premium view room though we had booked a standard. May want to see if you get a free upgrade upon room check in anyways.

We've received view upgrades at PPH using DVC, last time being just this June good luck!
