Paid our dues in full. Do we still need to change payment settings?

We recently paid our dues in full with Disney gift cards. Do we still need to change our payment settings? We had our account set up for monthly dues payments.

We forgot to ask this question when we were on the phone with member accounting.

Once your dues are paid in full they will not take out any monthly payments since you have a zero balance.

No. We have our account set up like that but have paid the total every year so far and never had to change anything. We leave it like that in case we can't pay the total one year.
