what a great feeling, i have just made the last payment on our holiday:banana:
i have been paying off small amounts each month without DH knowing:rotfl2:
i gave the invoice details to him today without showing the amount paid
i asked him how we were going to pay for this holiday, when the balance was due in Feb. just after Christmas:scared1: He said we will have to cancel Christmas this year to save the money:eek: i said no way and showed him the balance due, he couldn't believe it said 0.00:rotfl2:
so now i have to find the spending money and money for park tickets:rolleyes1 when do you all think i should buy my tickets, we are not going tell next April, will they have special offers later in the year? Also we are hoping to go to D cove, do you think they will bring out tickets that include options to the new water park?

Well done on paying off the holiday. We are going in April next year and we are hoping to pay ours off in October. It's a nice feeling knowing it's paid for.

Regarding tickets, there is very often a price increase towards the end of the year so, if you can get them before that, I would. Just be aware that some tickets say they are only valid for 2007 so check before you buy.

Regarding DC, it looks from the Virgin brochure like the Discovery Cove plus option will include all 3 parks (Sea World, Busch Gardens and Aquatica) but the standard ticket whcih normally includes either SW or BG will not include Aquatica entry. Virgin are offering a 2-week 3-park ticket for SW, BG and Aquatica for £80. I would imagine this means you will be able to buy something similar from the SW website or other ticket dealers nearer the time and probably a darn sight cheaper

What date do you go in April?

It feels good to pay it before it is due:cloud9:
but crikey if i had it paid off that early i think i would want to sneak another one in:rotfl: WELL DONE now you can organize what you want have fun:dance3:

Wilma-bride,thanks for that info, not sure what we are going to do as we don't visit BG, not enough time! we are going on the 3rd April, only taking my DD out of school for one day. i hope it is not going to be too crowded!

We go on the 10th - have had to take the kids out for an extra week as we left it a bit too late to book and struggled to get anything earlier.

I would imagine that once they have an opening date, you will probably be able to buy a combined SW/Aquatica ticket or, if you get SW entrance with Discovery Cove, get Aquatica separately - probably won't be too expensive to do it that way.

We really want to do BG but, like you say, it's quite a way and there is far too much to do in Orlando without travelling further afield. As it is, my in-laws are coming with us and have decided they would like to do Kennedy Space Centre so that will be one day out of Orlando - me and the kids will probably do one of the water parks that day ;)

we also like the water parks:cool1: we cant wait to visit Aquatica as well. we went to wet n wild last time and i hated it:sad2: too many queues and concrete! i love the Disney water parks with all the nice planting, you feel you are somewhere tropical:rotfl2:

I agree, Aquatica looks amazing. The pictures we saw were of the clear slide tubes going thorugh the lagoon with the black & white dolphins. It will be fantastic, I'm sure - especially if it's anything like DC as it's such a relaxing place.

We actually liked Wet n Wild when we first went - but that was before we experienced the Disney water parks - for us, there's no going back to WnW now.

Its always a great feeling when your holiday is paid off, even though it is a lot of money.:yay:
