Paid Off DVC Do they send anything

We paid off our DVC (We paid it off a few years early) Do they send you anything in the mail like a letter or something saying you paid it off or thanks, I haven't got anything. I thought they would have sent something.

I don't know the answer but I can't help but wonder if you'll get a phone call from your guide letting you know about current add-on deals.

You get a notarized "Satisfaction of Mortgage" letter which states that the record of mortgage has been cancelled at the Orange County Comptroller Office.

I would imagine you also get a phone call from your guide asking if you want to add on?

That I don't know But then we paid off the loan only 2 month after signing the contract, simply because we got a loan with much better conditions at home...

And other than a recorder message on the hotel phone earlier that year I never heard of our guide anymore. Were not yet in the market for adding-on anyway though.

I got all the cool stuff when I signed... When the guide handed over the folder with all the documents in it he gave me a beach bag to put the folder in. He must have noticed the look on my face, because he said "Ah, you're a fan." Then he opened a closet and added 2 DVC caps, 2 lanyards, 2 DVC door magnets, 2 ballpoint pens with light effects and some other small stuff.

Of course, that was the most expensive beach bag filled with Disney goodies I ever bought, but I still enjoy it I use it as carry-on bag every time I travel.

No, you will not get anything special. Just proof, satisfaction of mortgage, to show mortgage has been paid and lien released and even that takes a while, often several weeks..
