Paid in Full but not showing online?

When viewing My Plans on the DCL website for a cruise in November, it says:
"Your booking window opens on September XX, 2022. Check back later to explore activities. Once you pay in full, you can book your favorite ones."

If we have already paid in full (through a TA), should I email her about the "once you pay in full" part or will I be able to book activities on our given date anyway? The wording is what's causing this newbie some heart palpitations. 🤣

I tried searching the threads here but didn't see anything specifically about this.

For me the app always says that along with referring me to my TA for any questions about my payment or balance. I can’t remember the exact language but it never tells me anything on that front. It doesn’t hurt to double check with your TA but I wouldn’t be overly concerned based on my personal experience.

It's poor wording on DCL's part. Booking for onboard activities will open based on your Castaway Club level. Yes, you must be paid-in-full to do so, but the way they word it makes it sound like you can immediately begin scheduling activities which simply isn't how it works.

As a new cruiser you will be able to book shore excursions and online activities 75 days prior to your sail date, regardless of whether you were PIF earlier than that.

Will do! Thank you!

Right, my question is whether my Paid status should show online because right now, that's the part that seems vague.

If I recall correctly (been a couple of years due to COVID), when we used a travel agent for all of our cruises, we never saw anything about being paid in full on the website. We just were able to book our excursions on the appropriate date. However, we did receive a statement from our TA showing that we had paid the entire amount owing to DCL. To ease your mind, I would contact your TA and ask them to confirm that there is no balance owing to DCL. I don’t think you can contact DCL yourself since you have a TA involved.

we have always had a TA and have never had the DCL site show online that we were paid in full.

I did get a receipt for my payments from my TA so I'll just chill about it. 😄 Thank you!!

As I recall, the only acknowledgment that you paid is a green check mark and “Can’t Wait to See You” message at the top. You get the generic message about your booking window until your window opens.

Oh! I have that! 👍 I didn't know it meant anything significant. 🤣
Thank you!!
