Paid ILL and child too short to ride by Disney measurements.

Our three yer old granddaughter is right at 38 inches with her shoes on , and if we can get her to stand up straight. What happens if we purchase an ILL for Mine Train and she isn’t 38 by Disney measures? I’ve had one of my grands measure 40 inches at one ride but not another, but I wasn’t out any money.Can we get a refund?

I've gotten refunds for ILLs when my kids have chickened out or other reasons. Just go to the blue umbrella, say what happened, and if you're nice, they're usually nice about it. I've never been told no whenever I've had a good reason, one time they rescheduled my ILLs when we got delayed and had to make an ADR.

Yup, don’t be a jerk and usually Disney is super accommodating in my experience.

CMs have refunded me for ILLs for all sorts of reasons. Just be nice and they'll help you out. The only negative is that you have to spend 5-15min depending on the line to chat with them dealing with it, but better than blowing the 20 bucks or whatever it is!
